Incident Response Basics for Indian Organisations
A self-paced course, about two hours long, that teaches every staff member to spot, contain and raise a cyber incident or data breach fast enough for the organisation to meet India’s reporting clocks.
CERT-In’s six-hour clock starts when an incident is noticed. Under the DPDP Rules, affected people and the Data Protection Board must be told without delay, and the Board needs a detailed report within 72 hours. Those deadlines are usually missed inside the organisation: a clicked link nobody mentions, a misdirected file someone hopes will go away, a ransomware screen that gets switched off and wiped.
Incident Response Basics turns staff into an early-warning system. It is practical, written for non-specialists, and every legal point is cited to the official source.
