Cookie policy
Version 2.0 · Last updated 20 October 2026. We keep this simple: essential items are always on, everything else is off until you say yes, and you can change your mind any time.
Your choices
When analytics or advertising are enabled on the site, a banner asks you to choose Essential only, Accept all (equally easy) or choose by category. You can change your mind at any time:
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s “local storage” and “session storage”, do the same job. We use the word “cookies” for all of them.
2. What we use
| Name / item | Category | Who sets it | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
eb_consent (local storage) | Strictly necessary | EdgeBefore | Remembers your cookie choices and when you made them, so we don’t ask again and can show our record of your consent | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
eb_purchase_… (session storage) | Strictly necessary | EdgeBefore | On the confirmation page only: stops a purchase being counted twice if you refresh | Until you close the tab |
eb_leads (local storage) | Strictly necessary | EdgeBefore | Only in preview/demo mode (when the site isn’t yet connected to our form system): holds a form you submitted on your own device. Not used in normal operation | Until cleared |
_ga, _ga_* | Analytics: optional | Google (Google Analytics) | Counts visits and shows which pages are useful. Loaded only if you accept analytics | Up to 2 years |
_fbp, _fbc | Advertising: optional | Meta (Meta Pixel) | Measures whether our ads lead to enrolments. Loaded only if you accept advertising | Up to 90 days |
| X (Twitter) embed cookies | Third-party embed: optional | X Corp. | Shows live X timelines in the “On X, right now” box. Nothing loads from X until you click “Load X updates” | Set by X; see its policy |
Whether the optional rows apply to you right now depends on what we’ve switched on: if the site isn’t using Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, those cookies aren’t set at all.
3. What we deliberately don’t do
- We self-host our fonts, so your browser doesn’t contact Google when it loads our pages.
- We don’t pre-tick boxes, hide the “reject” option, or make the site harder to use if you decline.
- We don’t use fingerprinting, and we don’t build advertising profiles of children.
- We don’t set cookies on the pages of our payment provider: those are theirs, under their policy.
4. How consent works here
Optional categories are off by default. Your choice is stored on your device (see eb_consent) with a timestamp. “Essential only” and “Accept all” have equal prominence. You can withdraw or change consent at any time using the button above or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer; if you withdraw, we stop loading the related scripts at once and they will not be set again unless you re-enable them. To remove cookies already stored, clear them in your browser’s settings.
5. Third parties
Where you accept an optional category, the provider concerned (Google, Meta, X) acts under its own privacy policy and may process data outside India. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and your rights under the DPDP Act, including how to complain.
6. Changes
If we add a new cookie or provider we’ll update the table above first and, where consent is needed, ask you before setting it.
